Best Time To Travel

Morocco is at its most beautiful in spring (mid-March to May) when the landscape is green and lush, making for spectacular mountain photos. Morocco is also lovely in Autumn (September to October) when temperatures are very pleasant. Winter (Nov to Dec) days are cool getting down to – 6 with snow on the Atlas Mountains. Summer however (June to August) temperatures can reach as high as 50 degrees.

The refuge run by Valérie and Gérard, have been working over the last 10 years to create a beautiful sanctuary for the handicapped animals of Morocco.
